Firstly, it was getting a bit cloudy and it was time for a clean. Take a look at my last post and the picture there.

It’s an involved affair taking about 3 hours or so. It included draining the entire tank, taking the fish, rock, plans, pebbles out and cleaning each of them. Trimming the plants of dead bits, throwing plants which are not thriving, and adding new plants. Also, cleaning out the filter, scrubbing the base, the sides, and the top. Some of the steps shown below:

End result is a clean tank looking new and fresh! So, stayed at home tonight reading and enjoying the tank over Liszt. The fish looked pleased too.
