Had dinner there last week but didn’t feel like blogging about this until now.

Dinner included garlic kailan (excellent – we specified no oyster sauce). It came crispy and not too salty. It really was very good.

We also had steamed French Turbot. Admittedly, it too was superb but a tad expensive. Went there coz they had this 50% off seafood offer so thought it would be pretty reasonable. But after the 50% off it was still close to S$50! Wow-wee, ex! But, it was good.

And for the benefit of MMM, I have to post the bones.

Final item was steamed Sri Lankan crab which was also very delicious. I’ve posted the picture below but my dinner companion already blogged about this so if you want to read the description of the crab, click here.

And again, for the benifit of MMM, the “finished product”:

Bottom line: While the food was great, for a meal of S$110 (which admittedly included 2 glasses of watermelon juice and one Heineken), was a tad expensive considering seafood was at 50% off and I did get a minor MSG attack (which is no good for a guy avoiding salt), so all in, won’t go back (except maybe for the crab ;-)).

I’ll stick to seafood in Johor Baru (JB), methinks 🙂
