Last weekend, my sis called and asked if I wanted to come over for a “simple” lunch. I said sure. Simple was Pork Rib Roast with Fresh Orange Juice, Red Wine, Cinnamon Sticks, Garlic, Bay Leaves, Cloves, Carrots Radish and other stuff (go figure). I learned that her motivation was some leftover red wine and oranges at home.

Having said that, I’m much the same. I made a huge batch of grilled chicken marinated for 24 hours in yoghurt, cumin seeds, coriander powder, chilli padi and tumeric only because my yoghurt was expiring in a couple of days… I guess this characteristic runs in the family.

Anyway, coming back to the “simple” Roast Pork meal (simply garnished with fresh coriander). Take a look at the pictures… it was really, really, delicious and I ate more pork that afternoon than I had the whole year long.
