“Welcome”, I said.

The light turned green, the shade of a florescent Kermit.

I pushed forward wondering why I said, “Welcome”.

I wondered if I was going crazy. Having wondered aloud though, my wife asked, “Are you going crazy”?

I was startled pink; the pink of a light Miss Piggy.

A car honked behind me. I had a sip of my Starbucks which was sitting in the cup holder in my car.

I replied without looking at her, “Yep, I think so”.

She said, “OK”.

I said, “Thank you”.

We arrived at our destination. We were home. I was looking forward to sleep.

I parked. We disembarked. We went home. Did the hello kiddos, I love you stuff.

Good night.
