I’ve read many Upworthy, Buzzfeedy, Huffposty pieces about 5 habits of creative people or 8 things creative people do in the morning or 11 books creative people should read  or the colour of socks creative people wear or types of coffee creative people drink or the more generic 25 characteristics of highly creative people.

After reading and digesting all these lists, coupled with empirical observation, I conclude that there is one habit of highly creative people:

They Create






You got to give it to the Japanese. On one hand, conservative suit-wearing workaholics. On the other hand, the most wacky, creative guys around.

So now, a 3-Dimensional photo booth. You go in, get a picture taken and out comes a 3-dimensional action figure of yourself. It’s not cheap (prices will range between 21,000 to 42,000 yen  or approximately US$264 to US$529) but I can see prices coming down as adoption goes up and in a matter of a couple of years, this will be commonplace.

Personally, I think it’s way cool.

It’s a pop-up store for now and it will open on November 24 in the Eye of Gyre exhibition space in Harajuku and run until January 14, 2013.

The phone decided it had done enough listening.

It spoke.

And it didn’t stop.

I understood.

How much could a phone listen and listen without speaking?

I was surprised at first.

Actually, at first I didn’t understand.

Then I did.

Only when the phone stopped listening I understood.

I held my phone and listened.
